Product as described. Not only military spec but same manufacturer as casket flag and retirement flag that were issued to me and my family by the government. Flag is exactly like the ones used by the government but it is fairly thin and even transparant. I would love it if Veterans Flag Depot would stock a better than Mil spec version of this flag that is heavy cotton canvas.

Needed 3 flags over-nighted to be presented to grandsons during Father-In-Law’s service. Yes, it was expensive, because shipping something overnight is never cheap. However, I ordered on a Monday and had my package just after noon the following day. The customer service was impeccable! They answered many questions I had, and were very knowledgeable about how the honor guard may assist me in the service. Although, the service I attended was not performed at a national cemetery, and the Honor Guard was done by the VFW. They did not fold each flag during the service, but they did present them (pre-folded). Hopefully I won’t need to order another flag for a long time, but if I do, I will be calling here. Thanks!

I bought 2 of these flags for my fathers memorial service. We were already being presented with one flag by the Honor Guard, but because he had 3 kids, I wanted to make sure we all had one. The Honor Guard said they were exactly the same, and you couldn’t even tell the difference between theirs and ours. Recently my uncle a WW II veteran passed and his family desired a USA casket flag for the funeral service. Unfortunatly, his service records were destroyed in a fire at the VA archives some years back, and the research process for his records would extend past the date of the funeral.
